Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced DevOps Architect to join our team. The role involves designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure for medium-sized, multi-tier deployments, and establishing best practices for deployment processes across development teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with DevOps tools, cloud services, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation, along with the leadership skills required to drive efficient, scalable, and reliable DevOps practices.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and CircleCI for web and mobile applications deployed on AWS.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate and standardize infrastructure provisioning.
  • Conduct research, prototyping, and development to evaluate and adopt emerging DevOps practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Design, configure, and maintain distributed, multi-tier cloud infrastructure on AWS, focusing on performance, scalability, availability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues across development, staging, and production environments, including under tight deadlines.
  • Manage software releases, maintenance windows, and environment configurations to ensure consistency and availability throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Establish and promote DevOps best practices, encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve development, deployment, and operational workflows through automation and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor application performance and infrastructure health, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement appropriate solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose, and cloud-native container technologies.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
  • Practical experience with AWS CodePipeline for automated build and deployment processes.
  • Strong understanding of web server configurations and administration, including IIS, Windows Server, Apache, and Nginx.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python and Node.js.
  • Experience with version control systems, including Git, SVN, and TFS.
  • Familiarity with build tools and automation processes for web and mobile application development.
  • Experience working with multiple Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), including Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code (VS Code), and Eclipse, along with relevant extensions and plugins.
  • Familiarity with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools for monitoring application performance, troubleshooting issues, and improving system reliability.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
